These appointments are for families who need guidance on whether it is time to euthanize a pet.
30 minute phone or virtual consult with our veterinarian to determine if it may be time for euthanasia for your pet. Note, without an in person exam, we cannot prescribe medications or diagnose diseases.
Includes travel fee to your home, a brief exam by our veterinarian, discussion of pet's quality of life and determination if in home euthanasia is recommended.
If you decide that it is time to euthananize your dog or cat at the quality of life (in person) appointment, we can perform the service then.
If euthanasia is not warranted, we can do a Hospice Care Appointment instead ($395) which includes a customized treatment plan with a "comfort kit" (see below).
These appointments are for pets that are declining in health (with or without a formal diagnosis). The purpose is to address and treat symptoms to provide extended quality of life for the pet. NOTE: We do not do diagnostics (bloodwork, imaging) in the home but provide supportive care for symptoms.
