End of Life Care / Euthanasia Price List

In Home Euthanasia

Includes travel to your home, consultation with our veterinarian about the euthanasia process, sedation to calm patient and provide comfort, medication administration for euthanasia, a clay pawprint and lock of fur (upon request) and transportation for cremation (if selected). See Cremation fees below.

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for extended travel time, evening and weekend & holiday appointments, aggresive pets and dogs that weigh 100 lbs or more. Please CONTACT US for an accurate quote for your situation.


Private Cremation

Includes individual cremation of pet, ashes returned in an urn engraved with pet's name to your regular veterinarian (or pick up is available at the crematorium).

Quality of Life Consultations

These appointments are for families who need guidance on whether it is time to euthanize a pet.

Teleadvice

$175

30 minute phone or virtual consult with our veterinarian to determine if it may be time for euthanasia for your pet. Note, without an in person exam, we cannot prescribe medications or diagnose diseases.

In Person Quality of Life Consultation

$325

Includes travel fee to your home, a brief exam by our veterinarian, discussion of pet's quality of life and determination if in home euthanasia is recommended.


If you decide that it is time to euthananize your dog or cat at the quality of life (in person) appointment, we can perform the service then.  


If euthanasia is not warranted, we can do a Hospice Care Appointment instead ($395) which includes a customized treatment plan with a "comfort kit" (see below).


Hospice Care Appointments

These appointments are for pets that are declining in health (with or without a formal diagnosis). The purpose is to address and treat symptoms to provide extended quality of life for the pet. NOTE: We do not do diagnostics (bloodwork, imaging) in the home but provide supportive care for symptoms. If you are seeking a specific diagnosis please contact your regular veterinarian or ER clinic.

Initial Hospice Appointment

$395

Includes travel fee to the home, brief exam of the patient by our veterinarian, review of previous 6 mos of medical records if provided, consultation with family members about current quality of life and customized treatment plan to address challenges or symptoms. Includes customized "comfort kit" of medications for common expected symptoms.

Follow Up Hospice Appointment

$275

Must be within 30 days of the initial hospice appointment. Includes travel fee to the home, brief exam of the patient by our veterinarian, consultation with family members about pet's progress and updated treatment plan to address ongoing or new challenges or symptoms. Includes customized "comfort kit" of medications for common expected symptoms.
